About Jillian

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for helping people overcome their challenges and live their most authentic, fullest lives.

I believe you are always the expert in you.

It is my job to ask the right questions and help you to understand yourself and your patterns of behavior better. In addition to being a compassionate and active listener I also like to offer up tangible tools that you can use to begin to make the kinds of changes you want to see in your life.

I work with college-aged and adult women who are struggling with anxiety/depression, relationship issues, body dissatisfaction, bingeing and overeating, and issues with life transitions.

I am full of hope for change and believe that positive change is possible for all people.

In my food and body relationship work I come from a weight-neutral perspective and work within a HAES (Health at Every Size) framework. I have been described as warm, compassionate and insightful. I believe the most important part of therapy and the best determiner of outcomes is the connection between therapist and client.

I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from NYU and have training from the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and training in Intuitive Eating from Elyse Resch and Evelyn Tribole. I have worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and schools.

I have worked across the life-span treating a wide array of mental health issues.
